president

  • Facilitate and monitor all organizational goals

  • Attend all held meetings for UMANS

  • Monitor the board’s expenditures with treasurers

  • Represent UMANS at local, state, and national meetings

Vice president

  • Represent the president when he or she is absent

​

  • Facilitate meetings for the president

treasurer

  • Serve as chairperson of the budget/finance committee (ENGB)

​

  • Record and maintain all financial reports, receipts, and invoices

​

  • Monitor and approve board expenditures

secretary

  • Record and attend all board meetings

​

  • Upload completed and approved minutes to blackboard

​

  • Forward all minutes to the state of nursing student association board upon request

Historian

  • Submit articles summarizing UMANS activities to MANS for the MANS Newsletter

  • Submit articles to NSNA for its Imprint “Happenings” column according to publication deadline

  • Manage and track engagement points throughout the semester to remain accurate

breakthrough

nursing(BTN)

  • Plan and implement one or more events each semester

  • Encourage and organize organization activities (approximately 1 event each semester) that are outreach to pre-nursing students

Public

relations

  • Advertise UMANS related events to the cohorts

  • Manage and maintain UMANS social media accounts (Facebook, Collegiate Links, Twitter, and Instagram)

  • Upload or update file pictures, video, documents, and all other media to Teams

  • Attend UMANS events to gather material to be used in social media and for archiving

fundraising

  • Plan and implement one or more events each semester

  • Document contact information of individuals or companies that UMANS has used in the past for fundraising efforts (e.g., CustomInk)

community

  • Plan and implement two or more events each semester for nursing students (e.g., peer mentoring event)

​

  • Promote all organization events

1st Semester

liaison

  • Inform and advocate for first semester students in relation to UMANS activities and events.

 

  • Completed assigned tasks as delegated.

 

  • Report progress on tasks to President.
